Situated on the shore of beautiful Loch Tay why now sail away in The Paper Boat Cafe?

When Alex met Bridget on the alpine ski slopes, I wonder if they could have guessed that their onward path via Thailand, Australia and the West Coast of Scotland would bring them to the shores of Loch Tay to take ownership and management of the Paper Boat café.
However, as you sit gazing up the waters of the ever-changing Loch you can see what drew them to this incredibly special place. (
Inside the café you will find a warm welcome and an excellent selection of cakes, including Bridget’s speciality cinnamon bun, which is utterly delicious and wonderfully light. In fact, we challenge you all to find a more cinnamony or delicious bun anywhere in Scotland!
Alex and Bridget offer a choice of 10—12 home-made cakes, freshly baked every day, including fruit scones served with raspberry jam and clotted cream, rocky white road (a nod to those special ski slopes!) vegan carrot cake and a gluten free option. There really is something for everyone.
Such has been the happiness of the Paper Boat that little Clementine has come to join the fun. Born in the summer of 2021, we hope she enjoys many happy years padding on the shores and cleaning cinnamon off those sticky fingers in the clear, cold waters of beautiful Loch Tay.
